Chevrolet Trax or Trailblazer: Choosing Your Perfect 2025 Compact SUV
Many Pre-Owned General Motors vehicles qualify for the Certified Pre-Owned Program which includes a comprehensive inspection, a manufacturer’s warranty and a roadside assistance program. This means that you can buy any of the vehicles that are part of this program with complete confidence.
The Inspection
Every vehicle that is part of the GM Certified Pre-Owned Program has been subjected to an intensive 150+ point inspection that makes sure every key component is in perfect shape and ready to give you many years of safe, efficient, and trouble-free driving. This is why the inspection is not limited to the drivetrain and it includes items that are part of the electrical system, the braking system, the safety systems, and the controls. In order to make sure your future vehicle looks its best, the inspection is also extended to the interior trim and the exterior wear and tear. As part of the pre-sale process, any open recall is performed so that you don’t have to worry about it after you take off in your new pre-owned vehicle.
The roadside assistance program
If any problem does arise with your Certified Pre-Owned GM vehicle, you are covered by the 24/7 roadside assistance program. This means that no matter where you are when trouble occurs, you will be able to receive prompt assistance from a certified GM mechanic that can get you back on the road after a repair or a winch. If the problem is more serious, your vehicle will be towed to the nearest GM dealer from where your vehicle broke down. If this happens on a trip where you are more than 250 kilometres from home, some of your expenses will be paid for by the roadside assistance program, such as lodging and meals.
The warranty
Since all of the Certified Pre-Owned GM vehicles are subjected to a rigorous inspection, all of them can be offered with a manufacturer’s warranty that covers any defect for a period of at least three months or 5,000 kilometres from your purchase. If the new vehicle warranty or the powertrain warranty have not reached the end of their term, as is often the case with two or three-year-old pre-owned vehicles, these protections are transferred to you as well.
